Training
Program
Workforce development,
built on the jobsite.
Purpose Construction’s training program prepares individuals for careers in the skilled trades through hands-on experience and real project integration.
The program is designed to reflect the realities of construction work—combining technical training with jobsite exposure and employment readiness.

How It Works
18
Week
Program
Workshop Training (8 weeks)
Participants build foundational skills in a structured environment, learning tool use, safety, and core construction techniques through real projects.
Jobsite Experience (10 weeks)
Participants transition onto active construction sites, applying their skills in real-world conditions alongside experienced crews.
This approach builds both technical ability and jobsite confidence, preparing participants for long-term employment.
Support That Leads to Employment
We recognize that employment readiness is personal.
Participants have access to:
- Resume development and interview preparation
- Cultural supports like sweats and sharing circles
- Ongoing mentorship and follow-up
- Practical supports (help obtaining IDs, referrals to external partner organizations, etc.)
Many graduates move directly into employment, including roles within Purpose Construction.
For many, it’s a turning point—bringing structure, stability, and a path forward.
